The civil war in Syria is raging in the fourth year: Over 13 million people in and around Syria are dependent onhumanitarian aid for survival. For Andera Gadeib, CIO of the Dialego and herself Half-Syrian, the help of the local people lies to her heart. Therefore the Dialego Foundation supported a great self-help project: seamstressesfrom Syria sew pyjamas out of donated blankets for their fellow countrymen. Because of the dramatic situation there is lack of basic resources. Many people are homless. The meaningful self-help supports on the one hand the refugees and theseamstresses on the other because they can earn the living. One pyjama cost 2,50 Euro.
